A safety web site can be a creative way of getting team members excited about a safety subject, keeping them up
to date on safety assignments, and providing them with valuable online resources. Because a HS&E site should be engaging,
I'll present information that makes the safety meeting interesting and fun, such as brain teasers or polls about
current events. Of course, I'll want to include plenty of links so team members can explore a wealth of ideas on the web.
Here
are examples of the content I might include.
Events and Announcements Updated 07/07/2006
Best Safety Team 2005 assessment - end April 06
Don't forget, we need to complete our KYT. Otherwise it will impact on our team assessment for Best Safety
Team this year.

In the News

Here I might mention a story in the news that pertains to the safety topic and solicit opinions from the members.
Or I might ask a question about material we covered in meeting, for example:
This week we read a great short safety
topics. What do you think about those topic? Are there any detail discussion? Why?
I'll post the answers on the "myTEAMD Bulletin Board" page.

Meet the Challenge!

Here, I might put a weekly safety poster, for example:
Use All The Correct PPE...
And You'll Finish your Shift In The Same Condition You Started!
Last week's Safety Talk: Said Man
Last week's First Aid/MSDS review: Halil
